EXCELLENT Based on 185 reviews Posted on Google Stephen CAugust 18, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Simply, across-the-board, from atmosphere, to service, to food, to decor, to experience, and beyond, this is an absolutely wonderful, intimate restaurant with high-caliber owners. I went with my mother for a special occasion, and left with the distinct desire to both go back with reasonable frequency and recommend the restaurant to those who can afford it in the locale. This is presently my favorite locally-owned-and-operated restaurant.Posted on Google Richard WAugust 13, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is on another level. Their service is top notch, ambiance is immaculate and the food is divine. There aren’t many, if any, German places in this area and this EASILY makes up for that. I highly recommend the French onion soup, it’s insane. Apparently they spend like 8 hours cooking it and the love comes through. If you’re on the fence, just go and you’ll agree with me. Unless you have no taste buds and you’re blind and deaf. 6,935,772 stars out of 5.Posted on Google Bob BAugust 13, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best schnitzel that I have ever had! We love this place. Huge pottions, come hungry. Kind and very attentive service.Posted on Google David NAugust 13, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AMAZING!!! The food was phenomenal, but their customer service was even better - "10" gold stars. Yes, it was that good. The owners went out of their way to make my mother's 83rd birthday very special. (They even included two real Lily flowers - one for my sister, and one for my mother. Who's name, coincidentally, is "Lillie"). What are the odds? The meal: We started off with the soft, golden brown Bavarian Pretzels with beer cheese spread. I think this is my new favorite comfort food. Next up was the Hungarian Beef Stew, mmm thick tender chunks of beef that melt in your mouth. The parsley potatoes that came with it were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I was eager to try their Spaetzle, and the wonderful couple even prepared it the way that I was accustomed to having in Atlanta (caramelized sweet onions and lots of cheese). Sooo good. With our meal we had a bottle of their Riesling which was sweet and fruity. Delicious! And last, but not least, was their Plum Streusel. A perfect combination of two thirds sweet/one third tart. Their was so much food that we could only eat half. Because my mother is in Assisted Living now I had ordered our meals to go. Do yourself a favor and discover this little gem of a restaurant for yourself. Next time, I'm trying the Hunter Schnitzel.Posted on Google Tamas PAugust 12, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Incredible food! We'll be back soon!Posted on Google Luke GAugust 10, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very friendly service and great hospitality! I ordered the chicken paprikas and it was well worth the wait (admittedly, I was somewhat impatient to eat). Honestly, I thought the atmosphere was quaint and delightful, although the temperature was a bit chilly for me (most restaurants tend to be). However, the warm and savory chicken seemed that much more delicious because of it. Thank you all for the excellent dinner! I'll certainly come back to try the goulash one of these days. :)Posted on Google JetAugust 10, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I love this place, the cozy and beautiful environment of an European Chalet and the best Shnitzels and Hungarian food in Tampa Bay Area. Also Monika the Chef and Owner as well as her husband are so nice that always make you feel like family. I truly recommend this restaurant.
“If you are reading this, you need to find this woman! She can cook and bake! I think we bought one of everything off her table. Everything is delicious, especially the bread. But it wouldn’t taste THIS good without all of the spreads that we bought from her”
